Brief Summary
|
The prevalence of plantar fasciitis in adults as a result of prolonged standing is 12%, while piriformis muscle stiffness affects 56% of students. The student population is known to be more susceptible to developing tightness and common foot conditions like plantar fasciitis from prolonged standing, which can be attributed to a variety of factors, including poor posture and insufficient physical exercise. There are no research on the subject of whether plantar fasciitis can be brought on by tight piriformis muscles. Thus, a study to determine the relationship between plantar fasciitis and tension in the piriformis muscle is proposed. If there is a connection between the two, it might shed light on effective preventative and therapeutic measures. |
