This is a Cross Sectional Prospective Observational study in which we are going to analyze the possible Risk factors for causing Injuries in Adolescent Badminton Players with Early Sports Specialization. At the time of enrollment Badminton players of age 13-15 will be assessed for physical parameters such as Flexibility by Sit and Reach Test, Agility by 40 meter Sprint Test, Upper Body Strength by Push-Up Test and Lower Body Strength by Horizontal and Vertical Jump Test. They will fill Athlete Burnout Questionnaire, Parents will fill Parent Awareness Questionnaire and Coaches will fill Coaches Awareness Questionnaire. At the end of 6 months players will be asked for number, type and site of injuries to calculate Incidence of Rate of injury per 1000 hours of play. |
