Corrective exercise continuum |
After randomization, participants in this particular group will be provided with corrective exercises aimed at addressing excessive forward lean and low back arch during their training sessions. The corrective exercise regimen comprises of four techniques. The first technique involves inhibit exercises, which include self myofascial release. The second technique is lengthen exercises, which consist of static stretching and are to be performed for a duration of 1-2 weeks. The third technique is activation exercises, which involve isolated strengthening exercises and should be carried out for a period of 3-5 weeks. Lastly, the fourth technique is integrate exercises, which encompass integrated dynamic movement and are to be performed for a duration of 6-8 weeks. The total duration : 8 weeks |

Brief Summary
|
This study is a randomized, single blinded ,two arm parallel group trial. The consult forms will be taken for participating in the study and for photographic assessment. Male cricket bowlers aged between 18-24 years be selected for screening process. For including the participants in the study overhead squat assessment will be performed and photography will be taken by therapist and analyzed using Kinovea software (for excessive forward lean and Low back arch) For confirming the findings participants will asked to performed modified squat test . After screening the participants are allocated into 2 group i.e. experimental and control group .The experimental group will receive corrective exercises to address excessive forward lean and low back arch along with regular fitness training for 8 weeks and control group will carry out regular fitness training .Outcome measures will be assessed pre and post intervention for throwing velocity and upper extremity performance. Statistical analysis of the collected data will be done. Conclusion will be established based on the obtained results of the study. |
