Phase I: Selection of expert panel
In the first phase of the study, validation of the proforma will be done by experts fulfilling the following criteria.
Inclusion criteria for Phase I
Consultants from department of dermatology, clinical psychology, and psychiatry.
Consultants must be actively part of the Psychodermatology Liaison Clinic.
Minimum of three years of experience as a consultant in Psychodermatology liaison clinic.
Phase II: recruitment of participants for Pilot study
Individuals 18 years and above
Belonging to any Gender
Diagnosed with at least one psychodermatological condition.
Can converse and comprehend in English, Kannada, Malayalam or Tamil. |

Brief Summary
|
The purpose of the study is as follows: 1.Structured Proforma is a crucial assessment tool in the Liaison Clinic as it can be used by Clinical Psychologists and Psychiatrist in assessing patients with psychodermatological conditions. 2. A structured proforma would act as a guideline to elicit important information necessary for assessment and treatment of psychodermatological conditions. 3. A psychodermatological proforma would increase the efficiency in eliciting psychosocial factors of psychodermatological conditions.
The aim of the study is, to develop a comprehensive psychodermatological proforma which evaluates adult patients with psychodermatological conditions. Following are the objective(s) of the study: Primary objective: To develop a comprehensive psychodermatological proforma which evaluates adult patients with psychodermatological conditions. Secondary objective: To validate and assess feasibility of psychodermatological proforma for assessing patients with psychodermatological conditions.
