Brief Summary

Cross fit and circuit training protocols are most useful for athletic performance (Caloglu et al., 2020; Vadivel et al., 2022), to aware the trainers and athletes regarding the beneficial effect out of these two exercise protocols this study is being conducted. Available literature suggest that less research has been conducted about the effects of cross fit and circuit training on the balance, performance, cardiorespiratory fitness, speed, agility and anaerobic power of wrestling players. The results of the research might provide criteria to recognize capability in games and sports. Besides developing corrective training plans, it might assist athletes, personal trainers, and physiotherapists in developing quality training. By providing them with information on physical fitness components like balance, performance, cardiorespiratory fitness, speed and agility, the study may be helpful to trainers and athletes. It is assumed that there will be increase the performance of athletes. So the significance of the study is to compare the cross fit and circuit training protocols and apply on athletes accordingly.Female wrestlers will be recruited by referral from academy. The wrestling players will be screened following the inclusion and exclusion criteria and will be randomly allocated into 3 groups and further divided into three subgroups. For the participation in this study, informed consent will be taken. Pre intervention data will include analysis of performance, cardiorespiratory fitness, balance, flexibility, speed, agility and anaerobic power of each subjects of all the groups will be taken. The exercises protocol will be given for 3 days a week for alternate days for 6 weeks. Post intervention data will be taken after 6 weeks of all the parameters. This study will have follow up after one competitive game with same subjects and data for all the parameters will be collected again.
