Brief Summary  

Musculoskeletal symptoms refer to a range of sensations and discomfort affecting the musculoskeletal system, which includes muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments, and joints. These symptoms may manifest as pain that worsens with movement, stiffness, weakness, numbness, tingling, Burning sensation of muscles, fatigue, muscles twitches, sleep disturbances or a reduced range of motion in various parts of the body.  The potential relationship between screentime related musculosketal disorder among desk job employees. Identifying such associations can contribute to workplace health improvements ,ergonomic modification, and tailored strategies to mitigate the impact of prolonged screentime on employees’ well-being. This research aims to provide valuable insights that could lead to more effective health management and preventive measures in occupational settings. The primary aim of this study is to investigate and establish the association between prolonged screentime and musculoskeletal symptoms among desk job employees. By examining the relationship between screentime habits and specific musculoskeletal issues, the research aims to provide valuable insights into the occupational health challenges faced by individuals working in sedentary roles. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the development of informed interventions and guidelines for promoting a healthier and more ergonomic work environment for desk job employees.

The objectives to evaluate the frequency of musculoskeletal symptoms related to screen time and to determine the mostly affected body parts with musculoskeletal symptoms. musculoskeletal symptoms will assess using the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ), Musculoskelatal Health Questionnaire, numeric pain rating scale using for pain and screentime will asked of participants using open question.

Between screen time and musculoskeletal symptoms among desk job employees are significant. It could prompt awareness campaigns about the importance of ergonomic work setups, regular breaks, and physical activity. Employers might reconsider workspace designs to promote employee health, fostering a culture that values well-being alongside productivity. Additionally, individuals may become more conscious of their screen usage patterns, contributing to a broader societal shift towards healthier work habits.
